Banality of banality

Well, yep, well ... hm. There are things to talk about, there are things we know we want to talk about, there are things we know what to say about, but places not to say it. A blog seems by default to require banality. We all hate offices, I will speak about my recent beaurocratic experiences here, but I don´t think I can or ought to or will say a word about the American forces crushing people once more. I could quote that song with William Burroughs: Take a broad general view of things.

In the broad general view the weather is rather nice, I woke up late, sort of, I haven´t cleared out what exactly to do today, nor do I know if my education will be furthered this winter or not. I am working on that book, but ever so slooowly now because I´ve also been moving etc. etc. Let´s be banal and act as if nothing - I do point out the world´s greatest political cartoonist, as far as I know, Steve Bell of the Guardian, whose cartoons do not stay funny when there is no reason to. I salute him. And today I will do my American best to celebrate myself. Ciao, everybody!
